Advantech to Showcase the Edge AI Ecosystem for Next-Generation Intelligent Equipment at VISION Stuttgart 2026

From industrial vision and embedded AI to Physical AI and intelligent robotics, Advantech brings together computing, vision and ecosystem partners for next-generation intelligent equipment. 

Düsseldorf, Germany – September 2026 — Advantech, a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms, will showcase its latest industrial vision and Edge AI innovations at VISION Stuttgart 2026, October 6–8, Hall 8, Booth 8D12, under the theme “Advancing Intelligent Equipment Through the Edge AI Ecosystem.” 

 As industrial equipment evolves beyond traditional machine vision, machines increasingly need to see, understand, decide, and act in real time. At VISION Stuttgart, Advantech will demonstrate how vision, Edge AI computing, connectivity and robotics come together to enable this next generation of intelligent equipment. 

One Edge AI Ecosystem. Multiple Technology Choices. 
 At the center of the showcase is Advantech’s industrial computing and vision portfolio, supporting applications from embedded Vision AI to high-performance computing and Physical AI. Together with technology partners including NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Qualcomm and BitFlow, Advantech gives machine builders greater flexibility to select the right computing architecture for different AI workloads within a scalable industrial ecosystem. 

Turning Technology into Real Industrial Applications 

The ecosystem comes to life through solutions developed together with Advantech’s application and technology partners. 

Edge Impulse and Advantech will showcase the ICAM-300 with the Edge Impulse Edge AI platform, demonstrating a streamlined approach to developing and deploying industrial computer vision applications at the edge. 

Machine Vision Shop will demonstrate an ICAM-540 based AI vision solution, combining application-specific optics and flexible illumination for adaptable industrial vision applications. 

Captic will showcase its AI-powered Bag Inspection Kit on Advantech’s ICAM platform, bringing automated visual inspection directly into production environments. 
 Together with Captic, ROBXCON/mrm² and Basler, Advantech will also present an interactive robotic bin-picking application powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, demonstrating how machine vision and Edge AI can move from perception to physical action. 

 From Vision to Action 

 A dedicated Humanoid Technology Wall will provide a static overview of how Advantech technologies can be positioned within a humanoid architecture. The wall will illustrate key technology areas including vision sensing, sensor connectivity, and Edge AI computing, with selected Advantech products physically displayed alongside the corresponding parts of the humanoid.  Under the concept “From Vision to Action – Real-Time AI Perception for Intelligent Humanoids,” the display demonstrates how Advantech’s technologies can support the perception and intelligence layers of future humanoid systems.
