ADVANTECH-AURES Introduces YUNO C: The Next Generation of the Iconic POS Series

ADVANTECH-AURES is pleased to announce the official launch of YUNO C, the newest model in the YUNO family of point-of-sale terminals. This is the first YUNO version developed using Advantech’s global resources and will be sold under the Advantech brand.

YUNO C combines the sleek and compact design of the original YUNO series with stronger performance,  and long-term service support, all made possible by Advantech’s global supply chain and manufacturing capabilities.

The product will make its debut at NRF Retail Big Show Europe 2025 in Paris, and will be available globally beginning October 2025.

Since its launch in 2015, the YUNO series has achieved more than 350,000 installations worldwide. Known for its compact form factor, easy operation, and modern design, the YUNO line has been a favourite across retail and hospitality environments. YUNO C continues this legacy with upgraded performance and enhanced usability to meet the evolving needs of today’s point-of-sale operators.

With a modern, streamlined appearance, the system fits seamlessly into a variety of retail settings. Clean cable routing and tool-free rear access help maintain a tidy workspace. The main display supports a 0 to 90-degree tilt, providing flexible viewing angles for different counter heights and user needs.

Easy Maintenance with Tool-Free Access

YUNO C is designed for quick and easy servicing. Tool-free access to internal components simplifies routine maintenance and reduces downtime for in-store teams. A built-in magnetic guide inside the chassis not only makes removal easier but also supports smooth and secure reinstallation. 

Fanless, Die-Cast Aluminium Chassis

The fully enclosed die-cast aluminium chassis is built for durability and passive cooling. Its fanless thermal design uses the metal body to dissipate heat efficiently, allowing the system to operate quietly and remain stable even during continuous use.

YUNO C offers two touchscreen formats: 15-inch (4:3 aspect ratio) and 15.6-inch (16:9 Full HD) Both are PCAP multi-touch displays built for durability and ease of use. The system is compatible with a wide range of existing YUNO accessories, including: 

•  MSR readers, biometric modules, and barcode scanners 
• VESA mounting kits for poles and walls 
• Secondary customer-facing displays

This backward compatibility ensures investment protection and makes YUNO C easy to integrate into existing installations.

YUNO C is designed with long-term value and environmental responsibility in mind, featuring a lower carbon footprint and eco-friendly construction. Key highlights include:
