AeiROBOT Unveils the Alice M1 Equipped with Advantech's AFE-R360

Taipei, Taiwan, October, 21, 2025 - Advantech, a global leader in AIoT and Edge Computing, has partnered with Korean robotics startup AeiROBOT to unveiled a new humanoid robot designed to implement physical AI.

As the global robotics industry is shifting its focus to humanoid robots. Beyond simply processing data in virtual spaces, Physical AI, which enables real-world movement and interaction with people, is emerging as a keyword for next-generation innovation.

Advantech's AFE-R360 is an industrial board specifically designed for robot control applications, built on the Intel® Core™ Ultra series. This collaboration is expected to further enhance the competitiveness of the Korean robotics industry through the synergy between AeiROBOT, a leader in the rapidly growing humanoid market, and Advantech, a global leader in edge AI.

AeiROBOT's new product, the Alice M1, a wheeled semi-humanoid robot, is an industrial robot designed to reflect the real-world needs of modern manufacturing. Standing at 130-180cm tall, weighing 97kg, and equipped with 31DoF (Degrees of Freedom), it can flexibly perform a variety of movements. In particular, its 7DoF robotic arm and horizontally or vertically movable waist structure enables precise work at heights of 1.3-1.8m, even in confined and complex environments. This capability is expected to reduce chronic inefficiencies in existing industrial settings and enhance work safety.

Advantech's high-performance embedded computer, the AFE-R360, is a next-generation robotics-specific computing platform based on the Intel® Core™ Ultra series. The system combines a compact and lightweight form factor with outstanding power efficiency, making it ideal for robotics applications where space and energy are at a premium. It offers extensive sensor connectivity and expandability, supporting stereo cameras, IMU, 3D LiDAR, laser, and more. With robust computing performance optimized for real-time sensor fusion, the system ensures reliable processing of massive sensor data streams to enable rapid, AI-driven decision making. In addition, comprehensive technical support and ecosystem resources make sensor and software integration faster and more seamless for robotics innovators.
