Advantech Launches the MIC-AI Series powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor, Enabling Next-Generation Agentic AI with OpenClaw and NVIDIA Nemotron
4/16/2026

At NVIDIA GTC 2026, Agentic AI and Physical AI emerged as key trends, highlighting a shift from single-model inference to intelligent systems capable of autonomous task execution. With the introduction of the NVIDIA Nemotron 3 family of open models and the integration of frameworks such as OpenClaw, enterprises can now build systems with Agentic AI that move beyond reasoning into real-world action. Advantech introduces its latest edge AI platforms, including the MIC-743, MIC-742, MIC-741, as well as the MIB-741 and MIB-742 development boards, fully supporting NVIDIA Jetson T4000 and NVIDIA Jetson T5000 modules. With the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 series already in mass production, the NVIDIA Jetson T4000 series will enter phased production at the end of April. These solutions empower enterprises to extend AI capabilities such as OpenClaw and Nemotron from the cloud to the edge, enabling the rapid development of deployable agentic AI systems and achieving seamless integration from model inference to task execution.
Autonomous Decision-Making at the Edge
By integrating OpenClaw, Nemotron and the NVIDIA OpenShell secure runtime within NVIDIA NemoClaw on Jetson Thor, Advantech transforms Agentic AI from isolated model inference into a fully deployable system capable of autonomous decision-making at the edge. Within authorized access, an Agentic AI system can automatically retrieve standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance records, and spare parts inventory, and dynamically adjust production sequences.
For example, when the system detects low stock of a specific component, it can proactively email suppliers to place orders and track progress, while rescheduling production tasks to ensure high-value equipment continues running. At the same time, it automatically generates and assigns work orders to the relevant engineers.
This scenario demonstrates how agentic AI can transform smart manufacturing operations by enabling closed-loop automation across planning, execution, and supply chain coordination. In this architecture, Nemotron 3 Nano delivers local inference capabilities, while OpenClaw orchestrates agent workflows and skill management. NemoClaw further provides the security, privacy, and policy controls required for enterprise deployment. Together, these components form a complete edge Agentic AI stack powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor.
Enable Agentic AI with Advantech Edge AI Platforms
Advantech’s MIC-743, MIC-742, and MIC-741, along with the AI inference board kit series, MIB-741 and MIB-742 powered by NVIDIA Jetson T4000 and T5000 modules, deliver powerful AI inference performance, enabling autonomous systems to run generative and agentic AI models at the edge.
In terms of AI performance, MIC-743, MIC-742, and MIC-741 provide up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS, while the development boards deliver up to 1,200 FP4 TFLOPS, fully supporting agentic AI deployment.
With high-bandwidth sensor interfaces and industrial-grade connectivity, these platforms also support real-time perception, synchronized multi-sensor data processing, and low-latency decision-making, making them an ideal choice for autonomous systems running agentic AI.
Enabling Physical AI Deployment Through Edge Intelligence
By integrating OpenClaw and Nemotron 3 in NemoClaw on Jetson Thor, Advantech is advancing AI from model-centric development to real-world, physical deployments, accelerating the realization of Physical AI.
Building on this foundation, Advantech will continue to strengthen its collaboration with NVIDIA and expand its edge AI portfolio, enabling enterprises to accelerate the adoption of autonomous AI across smart manufacturing, automated inspection, and a wide range of industrial applications—driving the next wave of intelligent transformation.
